Em 2025, o terminal contabilizou 7,5 milh\u00f5es de passageiros entre embarques e desembarques, acima dos 7,48 milh\u00f5es registrados dois anos antes, segundo dados da administradora do aeroporto.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A retomada ocorre mais de um ano ap\u00f3s a reabertura do terminal, que ficou fechado por mais de cinco meses em 2024 em raz\u00e3o da maior cat\u00e1strofe clim\u00e1tica da hist\u00f3ria recente do Rio Grande do Sul. Naquele ano, o aeroporto somou 3,43 milh\u00f5es de passageiros, impacto direto do fechamento entre maio e outubro, quando cerca de 75% da pista foi atingida pelas cheias.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Em 2025, o m\u00eas de maior movimento foi dezembro, com 745 mil passageiros. A m\u00e9dia mensal ficou em torno de 620 mil pessoas utilizando o terminal. Compara\u00e7\u00f5es mensais tamb\u00e9m indicam recupera\u00e7\u00e3o: em abril de 2025, j\u00e1 com o aeroporto operando normalmente, foram registrados 580.536 passageiros, acima dos 565.860 de abril de 2024, m\u00eas anterior \u00e0 enchente.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Durante o per\u00edodo de interdi\u00e7\u00e3o, parte dos voos comerciais foi transferida provisoriamente para a Base A\u00e9rea de Canoas, com oferta reduzida em rela\u00e7\u00e3o \u00e0 capacidade habitual do Salgado Filho.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>O desempenho de 2025 confirma a recupera\u00e7\u00e3o gradual da avia\u00e7\u00e3o no estado e a reestrutura\u00e7\u00e3o da malha a\u00e9rea ap\u00f3s os danos causados pelas cheias.
